My previous Twitter account, @BryceWalker9, was mistakenly suspended by Twitter over the weekend. I received the following email seven different times in the past 48 hours:
Hello,
Twitter has automated systems that find and remove multiple automated spam accounts in bulk. Unfortunately, it looks like your account got caught up in one of these spam groups by mistake.
I’ve restored your account; sorry for the inconvenience.
Please note that it may take an hour or so for your follower and following numbers to return to normal.
Thanks,
Support
The only problem was that my account was never restored, and every attempt I made to let them know this was met by this exact same form email. Yes, it was a bit frustrating.
So, instead of enduring what feels like an exercise in futility, I have decided to start a new Twitter account. If you need to find me, my new handle is @BryceWalker11 (clicking the Twitter icon in the header above will take you there).
